2024 mushroom exhibit
The East Aurora Art Society thanks everyone who participated in our Mushroom Madness Fundraiser, a collaboration with the East Aurora Public Library. We would like to acknowledge our winners - First Place to Fire Fly Forest Friends by Heather Harris (right), Second Place to Snail Trail by Joe Orlowski (middle), and Third Place to The Mushroom Artist by Bernice Smith (left).
2023 Spring Exhibit
The East Aurora Art Society just set up our Spring 2023 Show at the East Aurora Library at 550 Main Street. The show runs until Friday, May 19, 2023 during library hours. There are a number of media used for this show from pastel to photography, and acrylic on architectural slate to watercolor. With 25 artists who are each showing 2 pieces of art, there is something for each of us to enjoy. The public is invited to VOTE on their favorite pieces in the ballot box in the exhibit room. Winners of the top three ballots receive red, blue or yellow ribbons.
Below are a few samples in the window display at the entrance. The rest of paintings are inside in the community room. Lots to see! Members of our society display their work at our local library in the Spring and Fall.
Past Spring Show Winners
EA Art Society Spring Library Art Show prize winners. Peggy Walker (L), received 1st place for her watercolor “Trout Stream." Patricia Durham (R), earned 3rd Place for her oil painting “Cazenovia Creek in Fall." Lynn Davis, who was unavailable for the photo, received 2nd place for her watercolor “Echinacea," in the center. The library show will be continuing until May 19 at the EA Library 550 Main St, during regular library hours.
